[Sims2] Bodyshop Crashes and Water Glitches

Why I haven't been posting anything Sim related...

I had very strange crashes while trying to do a project of Javiera's shirts, any age of this shirt would crash bodyshop. I cleared everything else out, re-downloaded and still no difference.

Bodyshop is crashing whenever I do anything with elders and then other times randomly and strange graphic issues with my water in game, it's very brightly blue even with defaults over it and reflections are on.

I'm thinking of doing a uninstall-reinstall. But I am wondering if I should just bite the bullet and do a complete clean one (Not keep my hoods and downloads).

I know what I need to do I just want to know if I should take a chance of leaving my CC and neighborhoods or I should just shed the tears and go fresh...
